As a result of the Phase I of the Strengthening Leadership with Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity in Higher Education Institutions in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region and Timor-Leste Project, a White Paper has been published by the Institute of Development Studies with the support from the British Council and SEAMEO RIHED.

The White Paper focuses on gender equity, diversity and inclusivity in the leadership of higher education institutions in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) and Timor Leste.

Firstly, the White Paper explores the literature on gender and inclusivity in higher education institutions. Secondly, it provides a brief explanation on the current context of GEDI in Southeast Asia. Thirdly, policy recommendations are provided for three different levels of policy making bodies – institutional,  national, and  international settings.

The full version of the White Paper will be available soon.
