Thailand is one of East Asia’s leading countries in terms of student mobility, with statistics from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). To better understand the opportunities for transnational education in Thailand - including both the prospects for new UK branch campuses and the environment for joint and dual degree programmes in partnership with Thai universities - the British Council has conducted a research in 2018. This report is an update based on an original commissioned report by the British Council in April 2019.
