Two student ambassadors of UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) and the 2018/19 IELTS Prize Winner (graduate of University of Cambridge) will also be on the panel to talk about what it is like to study as an international student in the UK. Amanda is currently the Study UK Marketing Manager, East Asia at the British Council. In this role she led Study UK B2B marketing plans to advise on business opportunities and deliver results for education business partners and provided education insights for students and their families, agents, and counsellors.

Anna is a second-year student from Hong Kong studying Biological and Biomedical Sciences at University of Dundee. She hopes to develop her knowledge in how to influence policies and how different parties take part in making policies, which she sees as crucial knowledge for making positive change in her local communities.

Jie Fei is from Malaysia and is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Aberdeen. She is interested to learn more about international students’ access to healthcare and wellbeing services, and wishes to highlight how international tuition fees have been a long-standing obstacle for students from less economically developed countries to gain an overseas education.

Alex Seward earned a Master's Degree in Literature & Linguistics from the University of Rochester, USA. Alex started working with the British Council in 2012 and for the past 10 years he has been a teacher trainer and academic manager for various schools throughout Vietnam.
