Dr Patcharawee Tunprawat
Head of Arts and Creative Industries, British Council Thailand
Dr Patcharawee Tunprawat has been with the British Council Thailand since 2014. She is responsible for all British Council’s programmes relating to arts, culture, and creative industries in Thailand. She pioneered the programme on Craft and Social Entrepreneurship with the aim of creating better livelihoods for artisans and entrepreneurs through knowledge exchange between Thailand and the UK. She also works on the Creative Cities programme, focusing on the development of creative hubs to support innovation and international collaboration for social improvement. Patcharawee holds an MA from SOAS, University of London, and a PhD in Historic Archaeology from Silpakorn University in Thailand.
