Chonlaya Ek-Akara

Women Empowerment Programme Manager, Baandek Foundation

Chonlaya empowers ethnic minority and migrant women in Thailand. As the manager of Women Empowerment Program (WEP), she provides life skills and economic training, including financial literacy and mental support. She also leads Women for Change (W4C) project, training community leaders to support other women locally.

She supports the Baan Dek Foundation in advocating for policies that benefit women in Thailand’s construction sector.

 

Nilobon Pramarn

CEO and Co-founder, Head of Project Development & Creative Director, FlowFolk Co., Ltd./ Muanjoy Brand

As CEO and co-founder of FlowFolk, a social enterprise, Nilobon works with local producers to revive sustainable folk practices and crafts. With a background in R&D and Social Development, she empowers locals to thrive by leveraging local resources, traditional wisdom, and artisanal skills to create sustainable livelihoods. Nilobon dreams of establishing a Research and Development Centre for Local Product Development to bridge the urban-rural gap in Thailand.

Sanhapan Wattanapisit

Medical Doctor, Professional Level, Thasala Hospital (Ministry of Public Health), Thailand

Sanhapan works as a family doctor, specialising in palliative care at a district hospital. She has led palliative care services in both hospital and community settings, strengthening the capacity of healthcare providers to deliver quality care to the wider community. This work enhances accessible care, particularly among underserved populations. She aims to further advance palliative care services to increase healthcare accessibility and reduce inequity.
