Ruth Bunting is Associate Head of College at Swansea University's top 10 UK Engineering College. Swansea is located in Wales, a beautiful part of Great Britain.

Ruth heads up the Operations function within the College which includes 3,500 students and 450 staff. Ruth has worked in Engineering since 2005. Prior to this she held other roles in Swansea and in her home city of Brighton in Southern England, following her graduation from Swansea University in 1999.

Ruth has managed Admissions and Student Experience in the College of Engineering for a number of years, and has thoroughly enjoyed providing advice and guidance to students at sixth form and schools thinking of studying Engineering at University, and then being part of the journey as those students obtain good degrees and successful careers with companies all over the world.

Advising students from most countries over the years means that Ruth is familiar with a wide range of curricular and can advise on entry requirements for all Engineering degree courses, including advice on English Language and  Foundation pathway options where this is required.

Ruth is an experienced traveller and has been to all of the major cities and areas within the UK as well as having represented the UK and University at a number of international cities.

Ruth is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and respected Higher Education professional and she looks forward to meeting the audience at British Council Exhibition in Bangkok where she will talk about UK Engineering Degrees and study choices within Great Britain.
