Former Honorary Secretary and Chair of ElCom at IATEFL, he has also served on the International House Trust Board and on the Educational Writers Group Committee of the Society of Authors. Gavin is author of The Internet & The Language Classroom (CUP 2000, 2007).

Jittima Duangmanee has an extensive teaching career spanning 24 years. Currently, she teaches at Surathampitak Secondary School, in Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand. She leads the English Programme, and also serves as an adjunct teacher at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. Beyond these commitments, she is dedicated to teacher training, with particular interest in Exploratory Action Research (EAR) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Judit Kormos is Professor in Second Language Acquisition at Lancaster University in the UK. Her research interests include the psycholinguistic aspects of second language acquisition, reading comprehension and speech production. Phyo Wai Tun, an English teacher and educator from Myanmar serves as chair-elect of the Awards Professional Council at TESOL International Association. His research focuses on exploring local teaching practices that are practical, feasible, and sustainable in the local context. He is dedicated to promoting inclusive English language teaching approaches that cater to both learners and teachers. He founded the online community of practice for English Language Teachers in Myanmar (ELTiM).
Rose Aylett is a freelance training consultant and CELTA tutor, based in Liverpool, UK. She has worked in ELT for almost 20 years, in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, with a special interest in critical pedagogy, global citizenship and social justice education. Her MA thesis, which explored critical literacy within teacher education, informed the NILE Online course ‘Global Citizenship in Language Education’.
Steven Lim is an adjunct lecturer in the Center for Foreign Language Education and Research at Rikkyo University, and he is currently doing his PhD at Waseda University in Tokyo. He has published articles on speech modification, teacher beliefs and practices, and CALL. His research interests include motivation, CLIL, the SDGs, and how to encourage learner autonomy for better results.
