The ‘From Teachers to Teacher-Researchers Webinar Series’, consisting of four webinars, will introduce insights and best practice on Classroom Research from teachers in Thailand alongside Professor Anne Burns. The webinars will introduce Exploratory Action Research, from identifying problems to disseminating research findings and everything in between.

Professor Anne Burns
Anne Burns is a Professor of TESOL and the Academic Adviser the Applied Linguistics Series published by Oxford University Press, a Senior Consultant to National Geographic Learning, in 2016, she was recognised as one of TESOL International’s ’50 at 50’ who have made a significant contribution to the field of English language teaching. Anne’s research interests include action research, teaching speaking from a discourse/genre perspective, curriculum development, and language teacher education. Her book, Doing Action Research in the Language Classroom: A Guide for Practitioners (2010, Routledge), has been extensively used by English language teachers and teacher educators internationally.
Anuchit Tharamanit
Anuchit Tharamanit teaches English to Grade 12 students at Takpittayakhom School, Tak. Anuchit has teaching experience for 27 years and his area of interest in teaching are grammar and writing teaching.
Bhunnarak Bhurampawe
Bhunnarak Bhurampawe teaches English to Grades 10, 11, and 12 students at Kuthong Phitthayalai School, Khon Kaen. Bhunnarak has teaching experience for 11 years and her area of interest in teaching is speaking for presentations teaching.
Jittima Duangmanee
Jittima Duangmanee teaches English to Grade 11 students at Surathampitak School, Nakhon Ratchasima. Jittima has teaching experience for 24 years and her area of interest in teaching are writing, speaking and formative assessment.
Jessie James Ramirez Dagunan
Jessie James Ramirez Dagunan teaches English to Grade 8 students at Mathayom Taksin Rayong School, Rayong. James has teaching experience for 14 years teaching experience in public school and international school contexts and his area of interest in teaching are vocabulary and grammar.
Kanchanokchon Woodeson
Kanchanokchon Woodeson teaches English to Grades 10, 11, and 12 students at Ammartpanichnukul School, Krabi. Kanchanokchon has teaching experience for 28 years teaching experience and her area of interest in teaching are reading comprehension teaching and active learning teaching.
Menada Juiboonmee
Menada Juiboonmee teaches English to Grade 12 students at Mathayomwatsing School, Bangkok. Menada has teaching experience for 9 years teaching experience and her area of interest in teaching are communicative language teaching.
Nattanan Lengluan
Nattanan Lengluan teaches English to Grade 11 students at Saparachinee Trang School, Trang. Nattanan has teaching experience for 28 years teaching experience and her area of interest in teaching are teaching and assessing writing.
Pajonsak Mingsakoon
Pajonsak Mingsakoon has been an English teacher at Hunkhapittayakom Secondary School in Chai Nat Province for 28 years. He is interested in teaching communicative speaking and writing, teaching strategies development and language structure.
Patcharin Kunna
Patcharin Kunna is an English teacher of grade 9 (15-16 years old) at Damrongratsongkroh School, one of the larger secondary schools in Chiang Rai in the Northern part of Thailand. Patcharin has teaching experience for 14 years teaching experience and her area of interest in teaching are Motivating students, planning lessons, and classroom research.
Pheerapol Muprasert
Pheerapol Muprasert teaches English to Grades 4, 5, and 6 students at Wat Pho-Jae School, Samut Sakhon. Pheerapol has teaching experience for 10 years teaching experience and his area of interest in teaching is pronunciation teaching.

Amie Dodd
Amie is a teacher trainer with 17 years’ experience in ELT. As well as being a master trainer for Ministry of Education projects in Myanmar and Bangladesh, she has experience in primary and secondary education, with refugee and displaced persons and on creative media projects for TV and online. She has presented several talks and webinars promoting teacher development across Asia.
