1. The British Council undertakes to deliver the course you have paid for, in full and in accordance with the scheduled class times, frequency and dates.
2. If the British Council has to cancel your course, for any reason, you will be entitled to a refund of either the full fee or a pro rata amount corresponding to the proportion of the course we are unable to deliver.
- Please return your original receipt to a member of our Customer Relations staff and complete a Refund Request, for all cases in which you are entitled to a refund.
- The British Council reserves the right not to refund payments, if the original receipt is not presented.
3. If you wish to cancel your course, you must do so at least one week before the scheduled course start date.
- No refund will be paid once a course has started.
- Please make any request to cancel you course in person and return your original receipt.
- The British Council will refund your original course fee, less an administrative charge of 1,000 Baht (500 Baht in Chiang Mai).
4. If you wish to transfer to a different course in the same Term's programme, you may request to do so at least one week before the start of the course.

- Transfer to a course with a higher price will require payment of a pro rata additional fee. Transfer to a course with a lower price will qualify for a pro rata fee refund.
- The British Council reserves the right to decline requests for transfer to a coursse which is full or unsuitable in terms of level.
5. The British Council reserves the right not to refund the deposit for the English course in any case
6. If the British Council is forced to cancel a class or part of a class for resons beyond its control (e.g. power failure, flooding, civil disturbance), it will seek, wherever possible, to deliver the full course content either by rearranging a class, adding time to subsequent classes and / or giving extra assignments.
- If it is not possible to deliver the full course in such ways, the British Council will, at its discretion, offer either a corresponding amount of credit for a future service or refund.
7. The British council will make any refund granted, by bank transfer, to the bank account you indicate on your Refund Request, within 30 days of application.
8. The British Council will not refund placement test fees after a test has been taken.
