Role overview

The main duty of the Administrative Officer (Partner Schools and Offsite Locations) is to provide efficient and timely administrative support for the delivery of services by the British Council at partner schools, universities and off-site training locations. It is a role of great importance to the successful running of the operation, providing vital support to the rest of the team, including the Head of Department, two Sales and Partnership Managers, an Assistant Partnership Manager and two Academic Managers. As well as general office administrative duties, such as booking meeting rooms, arranging transportation for visitors, and maintaining staff records, it also involves working closely with colleagues based at off-site locations to ensure stocks of materials and resources at off-site locations are maintained and kept within budget. This also entails working with different suppliers to ensure we receive competitive rates. You will also have to raise Purchase Orders through SAP and create Billing Documents through SAP to ensure the timely invoicing of partners and clients as per the terms of the service agreement.

To be considered, you must have a University degree in any field, at least 1-2 years’ experience in office administration and strong written and spoken skills in both Thai and English. English language proficiency at CEFR B2 level is desirable. If you have demonstrable experience of managing financial transactions on behalf of an employer and/or SAP experience, you will be a preferred candidate. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
