To provide support and assistance to teaching staff and to learners inside the classroom in the delivery of deliver and promote quality teaching and effective learning of English.
To provide ongoing support to learners and their parents outside of the classroom, as well as to colleagues and school staff (as required), contributing towards the smooth running of programmes.
To support the wider aims of the British Council and its cultural relations mission.

Role overview
British Council Thailand is currently hiring full-time and part-time teaching assistants to work at its partner schools in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. As well as its six teaching centres in Thailand, the British Council currently has eight year-round partner school operations: four in Bangkok and four in Chiang Mai. Seasonal programmes also take place at other schools and universities in these cities.
Successful applicants will join the Partner Schools and Universities team for an initial one-year period (which shall be extendable subject to operational requirements and mutual agreement).
They will be tasked with helping the organisation meet its key objectives at these locations, which shall be primarily achieved through the following: delivering English programmes to the highest standard; offering extracurricular and capacity-building activities such as clubs, competitions and teacher training; and contributing to school events and initiatives.
They will provide vital support and assistance in the delivery of quality teaching and effective learning of English to teaching staff and to learners both inside and outside the classroom. In so doing, they will be making a very important and valued contribution towards the smooth running of the British Council’s offsite programmes.
