About this course

Whether you are studying, working or simply want to improve your general level of English then English Starter will give you the foundations you need to make quick progress.

Our main emphasis is to develop your confidence in communication through practising real-life tasks in the classroom. The skills and knowledge learnt during this course will prepare you for joining our myClass courses.

On this course you will:

  • improve your English fluency and communication skills
  • learn essential techniques and phrases for everyday situations
  • communicate with more confidence and fewer errors
  • improve your pronunciation
  • expand your vocabulary range

We provide both intensive (3-week) and regular (10-week) course formats. The courses are available throughout the year, as well as special courses in summer.

This course will give you the foundations to build your skills and confidence in order to meet the challenges of using English in daily life. Whether your goal is communicating effectively with English speakers inside or outside of workEnglish Starter will enable you to rise to the challenge.

Course aims and content

The main emphasis is to develop your confidence in communication through practising an array of real-life tasks in the classroom such as:

  • Introduce yourself and produce an online profile.
  • Introduce your home town and write a postcard.
  • Talk about your family and make a family tree.
  • Describe your daily routine.

Our courses:

  • expand your vocabulary range, essential phrases and grammar usage about a variety of topics in real-life situations
  • develop fluent communication skills in English through dynamic group activities focusing on speaking and listening

Whether your goal is communicating effectively with English speakers inside or outside of workEnglish Starter will enable you to rise to the challenge. The course consists of 30 - 40 hours of classroom over 10 weeks.
