Our work in society

The objective of the British Council’s Society work in Thailand is to develop new relationships and partnerships between Thailand and the UK to address social, economic and environmental challenges as well as engage community members to become skilled, motivated, socially responsible and effective citizens. Our contribution towards a more sustainable society is based on 3 innovative programmes; E-idea, Skills for Social Entrepreneurs and Young Thai IP Law Ambassador Award.

E-idea

With urban centres expanding rapidly throughout the world, the challenge of making them sustainable becomes even more pressing. E-idea is a competition open to all young people aged 18-35.
